Work. Lots of Work.

So... it's been a while, I guess. Though it's not like people come here much, so nothing much has been missed... anyway, I was having loads of plans about what I could talk about, but I've been very busy with work, so... guess this will end up being the topic I end up talking about.

First things first, uni. Honours is a really hard year, though I hope it'll be worthwhile at the end of it all, but it's currently quite terrible. Taking a break from the work at the moment, I don't work well if I'm writing essays 24/7, unfortunately, it feels like that's what I need to do to be able to get things in on time... In any case, I've somehow managed to finish assignments worth about 12k words in the last month or so, though I've still got another 9k to not look forward to, coupled with a terrifying 15 minute presentation in a legit conference situation... *nervous sobs* I guess the silver lining, if there is one, is that I have no exams. To be honest though, I'd prefer less assignments and an exam... In any case, my university work situation is somewhat exacerbated by the fact that I'm starting work now, particularly aggravating as this essentially wipes my weekends, especially with the amount of travelling I have to do. Still though, I guess I get more driving practice, so those I drive to camp have less to worry about...

In any case, people may have noticed me bailing from university around 2 on Mondays and Wednesdays? Yeah, I have to coach the Year 7A team. They're actually very technically gifted, and the team shares some pretty strong bonds, and have good initiation. Very impressed with them, actually. Starting to work on tactics, I guess, it's a bit of a work in progress, I guess. Anyways, the team plays on Saturday, we started off with a 5-0 win on the weekend with a decent performance. Hopefully we can get some things done during training and implement some things and play even better this weekend. And on Sunday, I referee, or assist in soccer matches. It's not official FFV (Football Federation Victoria) leagues, but a separate amateur league, called the Multicultural Friendly League. It's kind of awkward as I have friends in several teams, and everyone wants decisions going their way... I swear, match officials (of all sports) don't get paid enough for what they do. Matches cannot go on without them, yet everyone always spends their time whining about things... people need to recognise that officials are humans too, and also make mistakes. Doesn't help if you're friends with members of the teams, I guess...

Anyways, random second blog complete, time to like... casually not blog for a while, I guess? Anyways, off to go write some more of my 4k literature review...
